It most definitely is satisfying... just seeing the end result is worth taking the time to clean the wheels. I try to clean mine once every two weeks depending on the weather.

Adams wheel/tire cleaner, boar hair brush, ez wheel cleaner brush and a 2gallon garden sprayer. Touch up the tires with meguiars endurance tire gel

Very satisfying. Probably one of the great side benefits of swapping wheels between winter/summer is getting a chance to clean the wheels off the car.

I clean the inside in the fall, when I rotate. I started using Flash Brown Royal last year, it's amazing stuff.

On the inside I spray with Brown Royal, wipe it a bit with a medium Scotchbrite pad, then rinse. It really makes them look like new.

I clean mine once a week when washing the car. ez wheel clean brush, microfiber mitt and just car wash soap. they dont need much other than that if you stay on top of it.

My winter wheels on the other hand get a good dose of wheel cleaner for a minute or two and then pressure washed down in the spray off bay when the weather is favorable in upstate NY. Weekly trips to vermont leave them plenty dirty.

If you are referring to the barrel of the rim. Yes. The split 5 spoke im able to get in there without issue.

I can reach maybe half of the inside of my 395 V spoke wheels. The only way I can fully clean them is to pull the wheel off the car.

I have used this too. Works great. Started using it based on suggestions in this forum.

Why? There's tons of detailing brushes that get into the barrel.

Do you mean OEM 395 wheels?

Looking at a picture of them they wouldn't be that hard using something like a Speedmaster or EZ Detail wheel brush. With those you can leave the brush straight and get behind the spokes or the brush shaft itself bends and you can bend it to an angle which will get back there better. I've also simply used my finger to get the last little bits I couldn't reach with a brush.

Received a package of Meguiars products recently. Is the Meguiars Wheel and Tire cleaner, pink bottle, safe to use on the OEM 403M factory wheels? Thanks in advance for any input.

Meguiar's G9524 Hot Rims Wheel & Tire Cleaner (pink/purple bottle) is listed as safe & effective on factory painted & clear coated rims, & tires as well.
