14' 335xi 6 speed manual, clutch issues in cold weather
Hi guys, got a 6 speed 335xi and it's been getting down to 0 degrees where i live and when that happens, my clutch gets very spongey. It has no pop to it, i can take my foot off clutch really quick and it takes a solid half second for the pedal to decompress.
I figured that this due to trans fluids being cold so i popped the clutch a bunch just sitting in my driveway and then i put it in first and i was able to get all the way off the clutch and the car went no where lol Had to restart the car and it was fine but i'm so curious as to how this happened if anyone can help me out. |

You may have moisture in your clutch/brake fluid that's freezing. Recommended flush interval is two years. That is not normal behavior for the clutch even in cold weather.
