What engine have you got in your 3/4 series?
Following on from the "what colour do you have thread", what engines does everyone have?
I would guess the 330d will have the highest number, but still interesting to hear about other engines and petrols etc....

Bizarrely, the 320d will be the most popular on the roads and I think either 330 or335 on the forum. |

I'm in a 330d, for almost a week now and I must say its a true Jekyll and Hyde car. Refined reasonably economic cruiser with a dark side...
I've already had the 'Journey Computer' topping 50mpg, although only briefly. The surge of power is very pleasant... Obviously when up to temperature, still in comfort only, and it's changing cogs itself at the 3500 RPM (when pushed) recommended for run in. 300+ miles now... 1/4 of the way it sports mode...

Wow, really surprised how close the 330d's and 335d's are, considering the 330d has been out for around a year longer.
Goes to show I guess, how good the deals are on the 335d as it almost seems a no brainer (if you dont mind xdrive) to spend a few pounds more a month and get a 335d. Thought they may have been a few more 335i's and its funny how things change over time and I bet when the E9x came out, I suspect the numbers would be quite different to above. But I guess the F3X diesels are a lot quicker than the E9X's diesels whereas the 335i hasn't changed a lot in performance over the 2 models.

I think it's more a case of those with 328's, 330's,335's are more likely to join forum than those with 320's . As I said i said in another thread (on a twist of fighter pilot joke). How do you know a 335 driver is in the room? He tells you |
