Best offset for F30 front 19x8.5 & rear 19x9.5

Dear all,

My buddy has a F30 335i and he wants to know what's the best offset for the above said wheel size. He wants the wheel to line up perfectly with the fenders without rubbing.

He is gonna lower his car with KW V2 as well. Maybe 2.5' to 3' drop.

It will be great if you can post some pictures of yours. Thanks!!

Wheels are BBS, they will go on car as soon i get time off work. I still need to take delivery of my car first. Pics for sure. Make sure your friend gets a quality wheel. Check out Alufelgen they are et 35 front and back and are offering sponsorships.

You really should have gone w/ 235/40R/19 Front and 265/35R/19 Rear (which is a lot closer to stock diameter).

235/40R/19 = 1.22%+ Diameter vs. Stock
265/35R/19 = 1.07%+ Diameter vs. Stock

Your setup:
235/35/19 = 2.34%+ Diameter vs. Stock
265/30/19 = 2.96%- Diameter vs. Stock

I'm going this route when I get rims. it also has more of a bulldog stance to it vs the thinner looking tires.

No it doesn't

And his point is your speedometer and mileage are going to be further off. Plus, those tires look way to small unless the car is lowered

All about the drop and the tire you're getting.

Will you be dropping the car? an inch? 2 inches?
What tires are you set on?

For example, you can get a +22 offset rim and put 215 tires or get a +35 and get a 235 or 245 tire

^ That was my point. The further off diameter you are ... the more you are mialigning your speed + mileage.

Sometimes ... its not JUST about asthetics. You can accomplish your asthetic preference by doing a little math.

If you can tell a 1mph difference at highway speeds then you are much more attuned to your car than me.

I just installed 19x9.5 et32 in rear with 265/30/19 Michelin PSS. No rubbing now but worried about drop. How do you guys think I can make this work? Or am I worried too much and the drop will fix how the rear tire sticks out?

drop it and your rear will camber in.
BTW, OEM 19"s are 35/30 sidewall

If you drop it will camber in a bit, but personally i think you will still rub on hard cornering . PSS have really square sidewalls. I've had 265s in other brands that were less beefy than 255 Michelin PSS. 255 is as wide as I'd go at et32.

Thanks guys, for now, I like the wheels and like the comfort feel of stock. I do wish I had better stance and less body roll. Just got the car 2 weeks ago so gonna see if something comes out with 20mm to 25mm drop over the M sport. On side note, anybody ever ordered custom offsets from BBS?

@ slmdgee, What do you mean you learned the hard way? Was it really rubbing? Was it rubbing when you turned only or what?

I ask because I am running 19 x 8.5 + 35
19 x 9.5 +45

@ OP, I have had no trouble with those offsets, and I have KW V2 with about the same drop as you are requesting..
