Question Trump, how?

Sorry to mention this moron again, but I just can't understand how he was allowed to get in the position to run for president?

It was always obvious that he was going to be as useless at being president as he is already proving to be, and any such person would never be able to get in the position of becoming prime minister here, so what is different there to allow such a thing to happen?

It's called democracy.

The least worst of all the governmental systems.

What on earth do you mean? It's all going so well. It's beautiful. Fact. And anyone who says otherwise is a lying member of the liberal press. Fact.

I always thought a trump was a noisy emission of noxious hot air from an arsehole.

•Verb. To break wind from the anus, to 'fart'. E.g."There's a disgusting smell in here. Has someone trumped?"
•Noun. 1. An act of breaking wind. 2)The resulting smell of having broke wind from the anus, a 'fart'.

Still, it's only a word.

Moronic, delusional and misplaced self interest on the part of the American electorate would be my answer.

Let's hope the much lauded checks and balances of the American government and constitution work.

Given that he's only been in power a month and from what I can see is merely implementing policies that he campaigned on, what do you feel he is doing that makes him "useless"?
Or, maybe you can explain why you think otherwise, if you think he's been good?

Its kinda fun to watch from 'afar'....but then all will break loose at some point and it will affect us all.

I'm looking forward to my kids walking the great wall of Mexico especially.

Yeah I agree, but in the back of mind all I've got is that saying about the law of unintended consequences, and wondering just how wrong it could all go.

Like the bright spark who thought they'd nominate Corbyn for a bit of a laugh...

I can't remember many politicians that implement what they campaigned on. Of course, you out words in my mouth Terry as I didn't say I thought he was good. But I certainly think its far too early to tell.
I didn't, hence why I kindly gave you a way to wriggle out.
I agree, too early to say he's good, but not too early to say his priorities seem odd, his communication style chaotic, and the separation between his political world and his business and family interests are insufficient.

There's a lot more to being a great politician than 'implementing' stuff though. The policies have to be good in the first place, and they need to have beneficial effect.

It was actually the Conservative party that nominated Corbyn......
Ha! They wish they were strategically that good.

His administration so far looks chaotic to say the least.

His rambling press conference yesterday seemed only to underline just how far out of his depth he is.

Regrettably this is the president's office and not some crazy reality show, I don't think he quite gets that.

It's the biggest reality show on earth, but a scripted one, unfortunately he's refusing to learn his lines.

Watch out you don't upset the Trumpeteers, they worship their mighty god Trumpy.

There have been some interesting exchanges on the main off topic section.

However unsuitable he may be I think it's refreshing at least he just goes out and says what he thinks. He is not a politician and so probably doesnt give a monkeys about re election and can upset people along the way.

Sorry, you were a bit unclear there. Confirm you think Trump is the best youve had?

Can you quantify his past 40 days please if that is the case.
