They are vinyl wrapped. Its the easiest way to do it. Painting would be difficult because you would have to cover entire front bumper and radiator so the overspray doesnt hit those parts. I also have red intake scoops so that could be why it looks like a lot of red behind the grilles.

Closer look of the wrapped support beams and intake scoops for those who asked about them.

When you say paint correction, how involved is that process in this situation? I'm thinking since your car is fairly new I can't imagine the paint to be that bad : ??

Nonetheless looks great.

I just did the same today.
The front of my car is covered with Xpel, so I did the paint correction and ceramic coating from the front doors back.

We will just say that this process was very involved detailer worked

12p-12am
10am-12am
7am-5pm

That was the total time spent on my car to prepare it and ceramic coat it.

First two days were wash and paint correction and slight prep.

If you have a white car like mine the paint swirls can get intense. Previous owner took it through automatic wash and also the dealer did the same causing deep swirls compounding on top of each other. My paint I thought was in decent shape but a true detailer can really take it to another level. I have photos coming soon of the level of work performed but it was a long long process. Maybe yours is in better shape than mine is but I honestly thought it was good prior.

I won't see the true look for a few days after curing.

Drove 5hrs back home and usually my car is plastered with bugs. I had a total of 5 bugs splat on the front. This was driving in the night too. Easy clean when I got home but it was pretty amazing seeing it.

I have a partial clear bra as well and I will tell you it's worth it to do ceramic on all. It deepens the layer of protection on the clear bra but also the shine may look awkward with non coated areas.

It would help with preventing any yellowing on the clear bra too

Very hard to capture swirls and the correction but look at middle pictures shows a portion of the trunk done and the swirls right at the light marks. Huge difference when you are in the room looking at it.

Anytime it's in the sun you can see the swirls amplified.

Last two pics show the true shine without coating done yet.
