lol I got on the M40 and floored it, kept it in Sport all they way back.

Also ignored my M6 Toll road advice.
Boys on blue were out in force on the M6 north of Birmingham. Spotted a few on the bridges - luckily!

Hope the Mrs is ok. Must be a worry.

You have a rather decent excuse. I remember scaring a couple of work colleagues once when I had a call from the missus and I thought she was going into labour. I found myself doing 140 for a period of time.

Harry's funeral was a bit like that. I remember 140 for about 7 miles in the Skoda just to catch up

On a different note, I really should have put some sun cream on.

Like a red fucking panda.

Nice to see we get decent turn out on these events.

Hopefully some decent pics from the day, although the Stormtrooper fraternity were taking the Sith

As mentioned Tony has kindly offered to host the next even and sort out a spit roast.
Hey mate,

Fingers crossed she's ok. Hope your well mate.

Lots of chocolate pieces

Shove it all in a big tub, basin, pan or whatever can hold it all.

Mix it up, leave space in fridge for it, you might need to add to smaller containers.

Serve cold with grated chocolate or cinnamon or nutmeg or whatever you like on top

It does fuck you over but god it's lovely, women tend to like it, must be the chocolate.

It's a great Canadian erm cocktail
Like a White Russian??....with ice cream

Sounds like a great day from reading it, gutted I couldn't come along (joys of only owning one car the missus needed it this weekend) but hopefully I will be able to get to the next one, nice to see some F31's in that line up too!

Daftasabrush what sound tweeks did you do? Be interested in changing the set up in mine if it improves the HK!

Hope your wife is better today Brigand

As much as I enjoy mocking the red beast (and a colleague who owns one) they are actually really nice cars.

Next meet needs more F31's

Killed the rear audio, changed it from 'expanded' to 'studio' and tweaked the EQ a little.

Cheers for comments update on my wife.

She is scheduled for emergency surgery tomorrow to have gall bladder removed.

Hopefully it will be keyhole rather than just open, as the latter could be quite a while in hospital.

Main thing is it's diagnosed (suspected last night) and if a slot free will get an operation tomorrow.

She's more worried about the General than anything else, she has never had a general anaesthetic before.

That's assuming they don't all catch fire by then...

The wife's had hers removed through keyhole, the scars are nigh on non-existent and her quality of life has been transformed since. Went in at 8am, was home by 5pm the same day after having had lunch at 1. Couple of days stuck in bed after, then was able to sit in an upright chair (which was important- the sofa was a no go but an old upright wing back was perfect). A further 3 weeks later and she was confident enough to drive again. We wish you both the best but they know what they're doing and it's practically bread and butter work for them so she should be fine.

I remember my mum having hers out. They suspected all manner of things until my mum said "listen this is worse than childbirth and it is RIGHT HERE". They knew right away what it was when she went from being a calm and in pain woman to what she did.

Hope your missus gets the keyhole Surgery. Shocking how quick you are in/out from that

@Brigand great hear that the diagnosis was quick and conclusive.

Keyhole is likely and should be a walk in the park.

Best wishes.

Hope all goes OK Brigand my girlfriend had general and she absolutely loved it. Said it's the most charming thing she'd experienced you just gently go to sleep and when you wake up you normally feel really happy and giddy. I certainly found it funny that she was so happy after having it anyway.

All the best!
