Ticking/clicking from front suspension
Hi all
UPDATE: Now I can also feel it in the steering wheel and floor at full lock. Really gotta get this fixed! Any ideas on this issue? Listen closely... Most profound when brakes/car is hot and at full lock. Car is RWD. Tried without fixing the problem: Changing the wheel bearings Replaced brake pads Re-tightening wheel bolts to spec (130Nm)

Is your brakepads worn down? Might used to make a ticking/clicking noise at low speeds because the brakepads were very worn down, so it was 'loose' rattling around...if that makes sense....sound were gone when I changed them out.

Thanks for the idea. I have tried two different sets of pads and they both have plenty left. Didn't make any difference.

I don't think its the top mount thrust bearing since your car only makes noise while moving. I would check end links to make sure they're properly torqued. Also check that the bracket that holds the hoses and sensor wires to the strut/upright are secured in the right position and not coming into contact with anything while at full lock.
To further diagnose, I'd also recommend getting the car in the air with the wheel at full lock. Spin the wheel to see if there's any obstructions keeping in mind your wheel will be at full droop so you'll need to make an educated guess to where the position would be if the car were loaded on the ground.
