Front end suspension help

Hi guys, need some advice whats going on. I recently replaced control arms, sway bar links, tie rod ends and struts. Had it aligned. Drove nicely again like new. But for last couple weeks steering feels so soft, steering wheel is slightly to the left and sometimes when I hit bumps or potholes I can hear loud knock from the left.. I was thinking go the the shop where I did the alignment to have them check it out but asking for ideas here first. I was thinking if strut mount coz I didnt put new ones. That could be the knock noise over bumps but dont thnks so about soft feel steering. Thank you in advance for ideas

Edit. Forgot to mention its 2014 f30 328i 140k miles on it right now

Generally strut mounts should be replaced with struts, they take all the weight of your front end and all the abuse that goes with that.

Yea sh*t 😡🤦*♂️ I am hitting myself to the head because of that now.. dont really want to do that again.. 😂 but you think it could be the culprit even for the soft feel in the steering? I did some research and maybe the steering rack thrust could be the reason. With 140k miles 🤷*♂️

If you didn’t replace this thrust piece already then this should take care of your knocking problem. Easy fix. This piece puts pressure on the steering rack and will get worn down hence the light steering. Also after all new parts and an alignment and your car is still pulling…. check your wheel bearings for play, make sure all tire treads are equal or very close(I changed one tire on my f30 and I have a pull to the right now on that side), also I didn’t see inner tie rods on your list I think so that could be something to address as well 🫡

Oh and check to see if your sway bar links are tight! They will sound like a terrible crash when not tightened fully!

Will check on sway bar links. Also gonna start with thrust piece. Easier than removing and changing struts mounts. Hopefully thats gonna be it.. thank you you also gave me and idea why it is pulling. I did change all the parts and did aligement but after maybe one month I got new tires at the front. Left tire was very bad on the outside. So I think thats why.. so will do aligment again and we will see. Thank you again
