Has anyone yet tried the 20" 666M M3/M4 Competition package wheels on a F30
Hi
Can't seem to find a definitive answer to this question. Has anyone tried fitting the 20" 666M M3/M4 Competition package wheels on a F30? I want to have them fitted with 275/30R20 and 245/35R20. I have some friends who fitted those tyres on style 303M wheels, with dimensions 8.5J ET 25 and 10J ET41. With these dimensions the car had an aggressive stance with the wheels lining up very well to the arches (not sticking out); and no touching on the tyres. The 666M wheel is 9J ET29 and 10J ET40. In my understanding then, with reference to the 303M wheel, the fronts will sit in roughly the same position and stance (wider wheel should roughly compensate for the higher offset); and the rears will sit 1mm further into the arch. These movements are so minimal that I don't see why the wheels shouldn't be a direct fit. Can someone advise if they have tried it, and send some pictures? |

I'm not looking for photos of random cars for which we don't know the wheel sizes, tyres sizes or car setups. I'm looking for a discussion with someone who has tried it (specifically on the wheel specs I gave above) and knows a thing or two about wheels to give me some information. If you can use your expert googling skills to show me a thread of this nature, I'd be happy to take a look. |

No, but there are a lot of wheel threads. You're really only concerned with widths/offsets so don't limit yourself to just 20" wheels. Find posts about 19" wheels (there's billions) with the same widths and offsets and you'll find what you can/can't run.

No scraping or rubbing
That's just without any springs or coil overs. Thinking of putting h&r sport springs to drop and the fitment is flush. yusufm786 and GCinFLA well with bigger tires of course you will rub. |
