Yes. So you can follow that coding exactly, except note the 3073/3066 error that I mentioned.

Just be doubly certain what you are about to change, and MOST IMPORTANT keep a detailed list of all the changes (item name, plus before and after values).
When you use Esys you can read all the values from the car and browse them at your leisure. With Bimmercode it's not so easy to check, and I'd recommend installing Esys for that purpose. You don't need to get involved in all the hassle about the Tokenmaster Launcher, unless you actually want to use Esys for making changes. You can also get TM's free program for browsing the extracted data, which is great as it documents most of the values. This makes it easier to identify what you want to do in Expert Mode, and removes a lot of the scary stuff!. But be warned, it's rather addictive once you get started. |

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...96777&page=649 and ask shawnsheridan to PM you a link to download the Esys files. There's plenty of documentation included, and you'll never be short of advice (good and not so good) if you just ask. There is nothing to be too worried about, especially if you RTFM, and ask for comments, BEFORE you start wrecking your car. You'll probably find a few good ideas for improving your car's usability, without having to dismantle anything. |

I have trouble installing the fog lights.
It looks like it has trouble going into place. Are the sizes of the halogen fogs and LED fogs the same? |

thanks, actually i have read the whole 6 pages, but there were different types of coding, i think the most complete one was this:
" FEM_BODY 3061 NSW_R_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front right 3061 NSW_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front right 3061 NSW_R_IS_LED -> aktiv : LED Foglights front right 3062 MAPPING_ABBIEGEL_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front right 3061 NSW_R_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ -> dimmed : LED Foglights front right 3063 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_R_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front right 3061 NSW_L_KALTUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front left 3061 NSW_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG -> nicht_aktiv : LED Foglights front left 3061 NSW_L_IS_LED -> aktiv : LED Foglights front left 3061 NSW_L_UE_SPG_SCHUTZ -> dimmed : LED Foglights front left 3063 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front left 3062 MAPPING_ABBIEGEL_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 -> 100% : LED Foglights front left 3062 MAPPING_abbiegel_L_output -> nsw_l : Foglight when turning 3062 Mapping_abbiegel_R_output -> nsw_r : Foglight when turning 3073 KL_ENABLE_RE -> KL_Ein : Foglight when turning 3066 KL_ENABLE_LI -> KL_Ein : Foglight when turning 3073 C_CLC_ENA -> enable : Foglight when turning 3073 C_BLC_ENA -> enable : Foglight when turning 3063 Mapping Nevelschw L Part of WL soft-on nicht_aktiv : Foglight left as welcome 3063 Mapping Nevelschw R Part of WL soft-on nicht_aktiv : Foglight right as welcome " |

One little LED of the fog light is always on!
I have successfully installed the fog lights and done the coding, there is no error on the car and also no flickering, but there is just one problem, one little LED of the fog lights is always one even when the car is off, as you can see in the picture. and in another picture I have shown the amount of light it has at night.
I was wondering is there any way to make this little LED off?! maybe by coding?! and If there is nothing I can do about it, doesn’t it drains the battry that i should worry about?! Last edited by Aria97; 08-26-2021 at 04:02 AM.. |

Hey all, I have the LCI LED fogs on my 2016 F30. Is it possible to switch out the led bulb inside the housing? I recently acquired LEDs that switch between yellow and white and wanna see if there's a way to use them. Thanks!

Does anyone know if the led fog light is brighter than the H8 halogen?
The reason i ask is because i want a brighter light. Same as to why I don’t change my xenon headlight to oem led because the xenon is much brighter than led as noted in this thread https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1230507 |

Like I said, the photo was taken before I made any coding changes to the LED fog lamps. It is possible they were brighter after the coding changes. I have no way to tell the difference now since I don't plan on re-installing the halogen lamps 😄

I can't reference the BMW LED fogs, as I don't have them. I can say with certainty, as I measured it, that after I swapped out the H8 halogens in my fogs for LED bulbs that the light output was tripled.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned VO coding this retrofit yet. It seems like VO coding S5A1A and removing S520A should work while also raising the Zeitkriterium to at least 2015 (if not already). Planning this retrofit soon but won't do it if I have to keep track of so many FDL coding values- its just not sustainable IMO.

I installed the LCI fog light in my car, in the bimmercode application I converted it to LED, but in the last few days I noticed that they are blinking when turned on. How do I resolve this?
