Hello all!

Trying to add SLI (option 8TH) to my car, which involves VO coding KAFAS, KOMBI and HU_NBT 2

I have a 2016 M3 and did iDrive 6 retrofit, so there are some custom coding on the headunit (I think I have the FDL changes from steve@codemybimmer), but I'd prefer not to VO-code (overwrite) the head unit

When I retrofitted TPMS (O Canada), I found this link and a member posted the list of FDL changes the 2VB code yields, so I just FDL coded that without VO coding my headunit

Wondering how to see this for my HU_NBT2 module?

And just in general, must easier to manually apply the FDL changes to KAFAS/KOMBI since I don't want to go through bimmercode and change every little thing again

If you want to know the FDL codings for a special option code you need the NCDCAFDTool.
With that you can calculate the FDL codings.

Thanks! My google-fu wasn't good enough to describe the problem to find this tool

Will post in this thread on what changes SLI(8TH) generates hopefully people in the future don't have to manually find the FDL changes

Hi Dominick.Han,

I too want to only FDL code SLI to my 2016 F30 LCI as it is an import and I had the country converted and map loaded.
Did you manage to find out what FDLs needed to be changed for SLI?
