Esys different versions?

Hi guys. I'm looking into getting coding software up and running to fiddle with my bimmer. Got ista up and running after a lot of hassle (pro tip, don't try putting it on a usb stick, you will go bald). Now i also need esys though but looking over posts i keep seeing people mention either just esys, or esys pro, or esys launcher. I haven't quite been able to figure out if these are the same thing or not. If they're not what are the differences? many thanks

The main program is E-Sys.
To do something with it you also need the psdzdata which have to be newer then you car‘s software.
With that you can already do many things but not FDL code (change of single values).
For FDL coding you still need a Launcher.

My recommendation
E-Sys 3.30, psdzdata 4.27 or newer, Launcher Pro 2.8.2
This will work for cars not newer than 2018.
