like the front, not a fan of the curve on the tail lights. glad to see m3 didnt change much.
m3 pics are so identical that it seems like they photoshopped new tail lights on to the old pictures

I dont know what people are complaining about..we already knew that it would be just a minor facelift, at least cosmetically. Im disappointed though with the M sport..wish they gave a similar treatment to that of the 1-series LCI..would look pretty good imo.
Most of the changes are underneath, and thats a good thing in my book. |

No one, but dedicated Bimmerphile gearheads are going to be able to tell the difference between the pre and post LCI models, other than the 340 badge and, if lucky, the headlights. This clearly was a "tech upgrade" with engine and suspension changes. I like the F30 style, but those who don't are going to have to hope that the next gen G model lights their fire.

I am not enamored with the new corona "rings," but I like that the new headlights are larger and pushed out a bit wider than pre-LCI.

God I hate the piping on the ivory seats. Looks so 1986 to me. Thankfully that seems to be the Individual leather option.

I hope that the mechanical differences are substantial and help get the 3 series back up to that coveted #1 spot which it has wavered from. I personal like the design of the f30 3 series as a whole. I just thought there was a lack of quality inside and driving dynamics. It looks like with this change they focused less on exterior design and more on improving quality and finish inside and driving dynamics underneath. Which in my opinion is EXACTLY WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED! Now let's hope the car drives as well with these changes as I am hoping. And if it does, then I hope everyone complaining about not SEEING A DIFFERENCE, will SHUT UP and FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. my 2 cents

The headlights and tail lights in the pre-LCI are much much much better!
They had a statement. The new ones are uncertain... The L lines properly defined, were a stamp of BMW presence. The new headlights are just "chopping" the BMW corona rings. And with that line inside are plain stupid. Some things should stay as they are. However, I still don't get that ugly and unnecessary extension of the heald lights to the grills. Ithought that they will change that. All I get from this new design is that BMW is trying hard to redefine itself but all I see is failure. Same as Mercedes actually, their new design is repugnant to me. Next: the BMW badge is going to get some wings. Way to go BMW... Last edited by Teutonic; 05-07-2015 at 01:44 PM.. |

The pre-lci LED headlights in the M3/M4 look way better. I do not like the line going to the grill at all.
A mix of pre-lci headlights and lci full LED tail lights, might be the ticket. |

I watched all videos but i didn't fall on taillights signalling scene.
It's crap that they didn't put any scene about how look taillights when they are active. There is only one scene on sportline video at 2:54 and its front headlight signalling. If someone realised can you please tell me. |

Hm to be honest I liked the headlights on the 4 Series Concept, but not so much on the 3 LCI.
Not to mention the new halogens, no comment. I must admit I'm biased, but the current 4 Series LEDs look perfect in my view... I completely don't like the new LCI tail lights, its too curvy and 'soft', the L-lines made really a better visual impression. And BMW was always advertising the signature BMW L-Lines... now its gone, like the round coronas/angel eyes. I really hope they make a better LCI taillight for the F32 Coupe and its plug and play, thats the only thing I would change now on my car. |

I like the Pre-LCI better. That is just me. And you can always just put LED bulbs on the Pre-LCI. That is what I have done. I have full Euro LED in my MKV GLI and those are by far the best LED tail ever in my opinion. BMW LED tails always looked a bit funky.

MY biggest disappointment is that they did next to nothing to the interior. Those little fake chrome accents and strips cost like what, $10-per-car for BMW AG?? If even that much. Wow
I was really hoping for a serious interior upgrade similar to what the E60 went through. As much as I've been denying it to myself, the reality is that the BMW of today cares nothing about the build quality and heritage of their past automobiles. All they care about is selling out their own name for $$$$$ and profits. It's pathetic you can have record profits for quarter after quarter for years, making money hand over fist, yet you won't put a small investment in your main bread-and-butter seller to get the interior quality on the level it SHOULD have been to begin with!?!? All you guys looking forward to the G.... U better be looking for more cost cutting, cheap parts, shit ass headlights and taillights at launch. Don't expect anything better than what they are serving up now or you're gonna be in for disappointment. IMO if they want to cheap out, do it on the lower models 1 & 2. The 3 Series has a standard to withhold. Interior should scream high-quality to go with the design, which itself is pretty good. Headlights should be Xenons stock with LED optional at launch. If not at least have the decency to put projectors over the halogens like the LCI E60. This, is, the year 2015 after all. Its sad when Kia/Hyundai, Ford and countless others have better looking stock headlights than a BMW 3 Series. To truly get a decent F30 or any car from BMW you better be willing to cough up at lest $55K

Thanks, I really dont know why BMW makes 340i, the F80 M3 starts with $62,500, and how much is 340i gonna be? If they only have $10,000 differences, i really wanna know who the hell is going to buy 340i?

My car stickered for about as much as an M3. Granted the F80 wasn't on sale when I got mine but an M3 can run upwards of $90k if you want it fully loaded.
