Will it pull out?

Bloody hell. Reversing this morning in a multi storey car park didn't realise the top half of the wall wasn't level with lower wall. Anyway the damage is done, it's on the tailgate of a touring. Any thoughts if this could be smart repaired? If so recommendations around London?

My car is in for a EGR recall next week, I will ask the dealer but I'm expecting them to quote me a new tailgate.

A good PDR will get that out for around £100-£125 (London) - at a guess the dealer will quote £2,000-£2,500 parts, paint, labour for a good job...

Not sure where about in London you are but these guys come well recommended (not used them yet but will need to shortly, to sort out a scuff on the X6 M bumper):

Yeah right oh

I can see two white lines either side of the dent which means the paint is cracked, so no, a PDR man won’t be able to pull that.

It’ll need paint and filler....or a new boot lid if your fussy.

So, PDR can get it out (cracks don't make a difference to the ability for a PDR to get the DENT out...) and the then it will be cheaper to touch up, should you wish.

I would DEFINITELY get it PDR before filler. you want the absolute minimum of filler in there.

So right oh to you, still cheaper than the $tealer.

Try 1st Track Dents. (formerly F1 Dents) Jake done some work on my previous E92, he's a magician, and knows BMW's inside out. Highly recommended

I think he is based in Potters Bar just north of London, but he will travel within reason.

Check out his Youtube channel.

Must be the light/reflection, checked again in some good light and there are no white lines

I should think there's good access behind that for a good PDR guy to work his magic. Still a bummer though, the guy I use would probably charge £80 for that, but I think he's a little bit cheaper than most for some reason, don't know why as he's top class at what he does. It's in the beds area though.

He's hurt his wrist so will be out for a few weeks besides I'm too far for him to work on my car. I also tried dentman who refused the job saying he won't be able to do a good job.....jeez. Just waiting for some replies on the other recommendations.
