That 0-60 time seem's abit slow, since from stock its like a +115 ish or so. I believe the 0-60's on stock motor is around 7s. I've already messed around a 535d and could have passed him anytime i wanted with this stock Stg 1 BM3 on 93...

And with those mods your like a FMIC away from Stg 2 lol..

Agreed...Probably can do better with 0-60. Oil Catch Can goes in tomorrow... FMIC and S2 may be on the horizon...

Get xHP Stage 3 first. This is one of tune that really change the throttle response and very fast gear change. Switch to sports mode and you will no longer feel the rubbery gear shift.

Does xHP replace the BM3 transmission tune?

Yes. It's better you flash back to stock before installing xHP tune. If you like sporty drive with fast shifting, you will love xHP tune. I'll do this first instead of FMIC and Stage 2 tune as it's very noticeable improvement. You can download the apps first before purchasing license to check your gearbox condition before tuning. As long as the Clutch pressure is not more than +-450 mbar and Quickcharge time not more than +-40ms it's consider normal. The clutch will still work until +-750 mbar.

Reviving old thread because im curious. How did you get 248hp and 250 tq when our cars are rated for 300/300?

Also curious if anyone has numbers for stage 1 bm3. Don't want to go stage 2 cause I don't want to touch my cats for state inspection.

These numbers are at the wheels. It's very common for the 335i and 335i xdrive to dyno less than 300whp/wtq.

335i x drive stock vs essentially stage 1 (intake, catless downpipe, exhaust, JB4 map 2)

So my dyno run was on a Mustang Dyno. They call these the heartbreaker Dyno because they typically read lower than Dyno jet and other companies. The tech said my figures are really about 275hp/275tq after factoring in the Dyno correction. This makes sense because automakers use crank horsepower/torque when displaying numbers. Not all 300 horsepower is making it to the wheels. I'm XDrive as well so there's additional drivetrain loss there. While the original post was done completely stock, I am now currently stage 1 with my N55 but I'm running a FMIC so results may vary on Dyno results. I'll look into booking a session before I go stage 2. Covid has all the shops in my area booked, so it may be a bit.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'm curious to see those numbers. I threw on BM3 stage 1, as well as FMIC + Charge pipe. Disappointing if stage 1 just barely hits 300hp.

Yes you should be somewhere between 290-320 hp

I tuned my car about a week ago and did the stopwatch 0-60 method.
2015 328i with an injen intake 2 people and 3/4 of a tank of gas was 5.8, after tune 2 passengers and right under 3/4 of a tank was 5.25ish.
Take the numbers with a grain of salt lol, they're probably inaccurate but its just giving you an idea.
I can say that the butt dyno definitely felt it and it is 100% worth getting bm3.

I found this. Dyno numbers should be similar to bm3/jb4 stage 1 completely stock.

256whp/284wtq
