That depends on a number of things:
- What was the full extent of the damage (do you have a copy of the repair invoice/insurance paperwork?). Can't tell much from a single exterior picture.
- Quality of the repair work preformed
- Have you had a reputable independent shop do a full inspection of the car?

That's where i would start.

Not sure I understand your response. Do you mean it was repaired by BMW and went through a BMW 151 Point inspection and passed? Is so, do you have a copy or access to view the results of the inspection so you are confident of the condition? I dont know of many BMW dealership with their own body shops. Most farm the work out to independent body shops.

There is always some concern when buying a car that has suffered, at least, moderate damage. It may well be fine or may have a hidden or un-diagnosed issue that becomes apparent later on. You have to weigh that possibility against how much you are willing to pay for a previously damaged car. You should be getting a substantial discount (diminished value)

That's nothing! You will be fine long term. I've rebuilt worse than that.

Clean title or rebuilt?

And who is selling the vehicle......dealership(what type)? Private seller?

So totalled as that car was auctioned on copart.

Depends who did the repair work. As xxxjecxxx2 said, it can be done, but who performed is another thing.

What Dealership is Selling a branded title? Most would steer clear.

And no BMW warranty on totalled cars.

So I’ve never bought a totaled vehicle or with a branded title....will major auto insurance companies even offer a policy?

and if so....how high a premium?

I have never owned a branded title car, but Liability would be no different than a regular car with non-branded title.

No idea how Comp and Collision work, but I am sure they are offered. Bottom line, the car is worth LESS than a car with non-branded title, so that should be taken into consideration.

Bottom line, if cars were uninsurable, no one would buy them.

Progressive offers insurance. Same price as non branded. If your car gets totaled you get paid the value of the car with a branded title.
