Washer jets (I’m pretty sure I searched all threads first)

Hi all,

I have searched quite extensively (I hope) on here to try and find an answer for my washer jets not working.

I’ve been through most of the other posts and there’s plenty of pressure hitting the nozzle chain- the problem is the water jets straight through and out of this end of the nozzle and not diverting to the jets

Am I missing an end cap? Or is there an adjustment somewhere?

If I hold a screw in there to cap it plenty of water hits the windscreen

Just asking before I sink £100 in a new nozzle chain

Thanks in advance

realoem.com for all your part number needs. Enter your vin and go to town.

That said, it sounds like you found a fix for the price of a screw. Although I probably wouldn't use a metal screw, perhaps you can find a nylon one that'd fit where you put it...maybe some rtv on it to hold it tight? (I won't tell anyone your car isn't 'pure.' )

Hi Charles,

My last nozzle looks like yours and works properly, so no end cap missing. Capping it off yourself seems like a cheap solution.

Thanks all,

Sorry I didn’t reply for a couple of days.

It’s weird mine looks exactly like yours so I’m wondering if there’s an internal seal maybe that’s gone because it doesn’t look like there is any cap on it!

But on reflection, I’ll heed the advice of you three and get a cap on it!

Thanks
