I just realized that I have a set of winter tires in my garage from my old car with almost all of the tread left on them. However, they are a different size than my F30 "requires". Can you all tell me if I will have any fitment issues? Based on the sticky for tire sizing I converted the width to inches and they seem like they are about an inch wider which I'm excited for unless anyone sees any issues with the fitment.

Current Tires:
MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 225/45R18
8.86” Wide?

Garage Tires:
Nexen Winguard 245/40/R18
9.65” Wide?

narrower is better in the winter, however since you already have them, might as well use'em

here is 225/45/18 swapped to 245/40/18 on OEM style 397, 18x8 ET34

They should fit fine. I went from stock 225/45-18 to 245/40-18 on my stock 8.0"x 18" wheels no problem!
