How do i know when the engine mount gone bad?
I think my car N20 engine mount is starting to go bad, but i am not sure.
Occasionally i can feel vibration inside the cabin. But only sometimes Does bad engine mount cause vibration consistenly? Or any other symptoms? Thanks. |

Can you let us know exactly when it vibrates? You said sometimes, is it usually when you're stopped at red lights/Stop Signs? Accelerating or slowing down?

With my E36, I would just lift the car and do a visual inspection. For F30 that probably means removing bottom plate.
Just order new ones and inspect the old ones. If cracked, dried out or leaking fluid replace them straight away, if not then send back the new ones and get a refund. |

Can the engine mount also cause a bass sound between 80-100 km / h? When the engine is off and I start to push and pull it, it feels like it is moving (f30 328ixd)
