TPMS problem

Hi

Finally got round to changing my winter wheels. Due to Covid and not going anywhere, I have run winters for 16 months.

Now that summers are on, I getting the following error message nearly every time I start the car. After a quick reset all is ok. So sensors are working. Had hoped that the more I reset the sensors, it would sort itself out.

Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

Some things to highlight that could be causing the problem:

1) These summer wheels have been sitting in garage for 16 months

2) I had marked which corner the wheels came off, but the marking had faded (annoyingly!). As rears and front are different size, there is a chance that wheel that had been near side is now off side. But didn't think that made a difference.

Any advice appreciated. I feel a visit to dealer coming!! Thinking it could be a software problem.

Many thanks in advance.

Before a visit to dealers, try fully deflating, then inflate to correct pressure, then resetting as normal.

What do you think. Let all the air out or just run down a bit?

Many thanks

I had the same problem with a tyre on my F32. Thought it was a puncture but was the TPMS valve. Fortunately my local tyre fitters had the kit to repair the faulty valve and now it is perfect.

May not be this but thought I would mention it.
