If u mean generate ur own, no. Just extract? I’m sure u can with esys.

I feel so stupid i cant get the FSC code /./ Even tryed to pull it with a usb stick like they did in the E90 forums. Can anyone please help me?

Hi there

After 80 pages I'm confused a lot.
I'm not a super skilled with coding and computering, but still I find my way around stuff eventually and even was able to code my i3 with E-Sys a few weeks back.

Now, here's what I got:
BMW i3 from Aug.2014
Europe Route 2018 on a USB stick
E-Sys on an old laptop and an ENET cable.

Here's what I don't get:
Other i3 guys have NEXT in their i3, but I have ROUTE
Has that got to do with if the nav has a hard disk?
Pro. or Busy. Nav?

After I read, that it wouldn't be possible to create a FSC code for Route, I was hoping my i3 would accept the USB update without it. After all, I also read, there's a slight chance that it would.
But no, when I plugged the USB in, the alphabet circle didn't take long to show up....

You have ROUTE Map because you have 606 Business Navigation. NEXT map is for 609 Professional Navigaiton.

Hi, can sombody help me. I need to update my navi to 2018 but im not so good in this stuff. can i do this with usb or dvd? ive got a E91 from 2009 wit road maps europe premium 2008-1 on it.

USB or DVD will depend on how old the Head Unit firmware is.

If you know the firmware version, does that then tell you if USB is supported?

No. You would then need to know what version USB Support was added.

Why make it so hard? Try USB. If update not recognized, then burn DVD's.
