Just in case anyone made the same mistake: I dropped the bracket allen wrench screw for the intake down in the engine bay.. (I know, I'm dumb). After a few trips to Home Depot, 10-24 1/2" was an acceptable machined screw for the bracket. 8-32 was just barely too small, and the 10-24 is a bit snug but will screw in without stripping the threads much. 1/2" is the desired length that works, no nuts/washers needed.

Hmmm good info and one of those little pieces of hardware I'll keep on hand just in case - think I'll drop Burger a note to see if I can buy a spare and if not I'll follow the info you've shared here...thanks!

The screws and accompanying nuts were around $1+tax at my local Home Depot. It'd probably cost more to ship the screw to you than it's actually worth lol.

Hi,
I do not have a dyno with M power kit but gains should be the same as the standard version.

I got a CEL the other day. Scanned the code and it showed P00BC Mass or Volume Air Flow "A" Circuit Range/Performance.
According to my SA apparently the MAF Sensor was dirty and showing readings of low air. Requested me to re-install original intake and they will do testing.
Car stayed in shop for 1 day and everything looked normal with stock intake/MAF. SA recommended to leave the stock intake for 2 weeks and see if a CEL comes back on. If not it's something wrong with BMS Billet intake.

Has anyone else experienced something like this before?

The nice folks at BMS sent me the screw for free...so that saved me $1+tax and more importantly the trip to Home Depot lol

Im confused.

Mechanic said sensor is dirty and showing readings of low air and he concluded that problem might be from the intake?

It sounds that the problem is from the sensor

I had that fault numerous times. Had it happen twice while stock (1st time with 180 miles on the clock), once with the bms filter on, and twice with the Agency Power intake.

So it's safe to say that the SA is incorrect.

I agree with you Mike. It didn't make any sense to me either.

Revisiting the MPPSK question, did anyone do this? Do you need to remap the boost or is it suitable as a drop in?

I think BMS sells the cleaning/oil kit for $30.
