Extended warranty
Hello all,
I'm going to buy CPO 2015 bmw 435 this weekend. It has 37,000 milage. 2 years left for the Manufacture warranty. Should i buy warranty now? If yes from who I should buy it? I only now fidelity or delta auto protect companies for warranty. I need recommendations please. Thanks, Zeyad |

I hear very good things about Route 66. I believe their best plan is named Easy Street. You can find it in some credit unions.
You can wait to buy it. Just pay attention to the age and miles restrictions. The Easy Street plan is for newer cars only ... but I don't have details handy. |

I bought a 2013 335i with 15k miles couple months ago this year and I got Route 66 for $2995 for 5yrs/100k miles. Haven't gotten a chance to use it but I am having intermittent Comfort Access issues and I asked them and they said CA is covered under the warranty so I am guessing this is the best as far as BMW goes and my dealership also said they deal a lot with Route 66.

Better look at what Route 66 covers when it comes to diagnostic time, especially with an intermittent issue. Not to mention the hours per day of labor (4 iirc) needed on the car before you get a rental car for 1 day. Other standard items such as shop fees etc that Route 66 doesn’t cover. Replacing a $200 CA part could end up costing you a thousand plus out of your pocket with Route 66. I purchased, then cancelled, once I read their actual policy several times and figured out what WASN’T listed as covered in the policy (meaning you pay for it). BTW, most EW prices have gone up dramatically over the last 18 months. |
