On rundown, yes. And I find it to be less annoying than other n55 exhausts I've heard. I was a bit nervous when I purchased it because there aren't very many quality videos available for this exhaust. I'm very happy with it.

I like my MPE...deeper sound than stock, and was installed at the port. Sounds pretty mean until the wastegate closes, and then it's much more subtle. With the MPPK installed it's got a lot of burbles in Sport mode, but it's not "crackle-y", more like heavy thumps.
