I've stuck to RFT when they come fitted from the factory, agreed on the Pontenzas they are awful, but the latest Pirelli PZ4 RFT are very good and a very quiet tyre.

Unfortunately I'm struggling to find MPS4S* (after changing my mind from some all seasons) from Costco.
Nipped in to order some and they said they won't arrive till April... The guy said they're "not popular tyres"... Shame, I wouldn't mind that £100 discount, but cba waiting that long.

The Bridgestones are truly awful! And, unfortunately last forever. 25K of summer usage to 3mm. Likely more than 40k on the fronts of my 340i. These will outlast my ownership. On a side note, I have an i4 on order and have test driven both flavours. Pirelli and Hankook 'go flats' fitted as standard on the test cars, no factory order run-flat option on these cars at the moment. Though, they are approved… Approved summer tyres on these cars are: Pirelli PZero, Hankook Ventus and Michelin Pilot Sport… Go flats and air suspension in the i4 give ride comfort I forgot existed after 13 years in various run flat booted BMW's.
