Bimmergeeks Protocol - "Vehicle order could not be read"
I have tried to connect my car via OBD2 port to my android app, Bimmergeeks Protocols. It connects fine, but when I go to code anything, it says "vechicle order could not be read".
It's a 2017, 440i, UK. any ideas? |

Does your adapter have a physical switch on it? Might sound dumb but mine has one and one time i accidently flipped the switch and i couldnt connect to the car with XHP or MHD.

Thanks, I followed your advice, here is the response should anyone else ever go through the same issue:
If the K+DCAN is a generic cable then it can't be used for coding or even reading the vehicle order on that vehicle due to data sizes of F/G/I chassis. You'll have to get a BimmerGeeks DCAN where we have a firmware update and the chips that allow our cables to fully handle F chassis or source another compatible adapter. Beta testing was full of generic DCAN cable failures due to data block sizes so they have been eliminated from being used on F/G/I chassis. You can still use it on E chassis. By the way highly impressed with their support page. Dropped a support query and got a response a few minutes later via email. Excellent customer service.
