Summer tires are designed to operate in specific temperatures. If you drive carefully, nothing should happen, you have to reckon with the fact that the compound from which the tires are made will be hard and slippery at low temperatures, so be careful about the loss of grip. And if you come across snow, you will have a problem with further driving, even if you have an xdrive drive.
