Does my KW V3 need a rebuild?
Hey,
I installed a brand new KW V3 in May. Since then, I did around 30.000km when lowered. Ride was amazing, butter smooth. During winter, when I replaced my tires to 19', I've noticed the ride became stiffer. That was quite a surprise, since the tires were 19'. After winter (till this day), the ride became stiffer to the point that is almost undriveable. The rear was jumping on almost any kind of imperfection. I've played around with different rebound/compression settings, but that didn't change anything. I've recently replaced the KW V3 with a OEM + Springs setup, which isn't bad, but it's not as smooth and comfortable as KW V3 was on the first day I installed it. My question is - what could be wrong with my KW? There's no visual leak. Is this a normal symptom of coilers that are over and need to be rebuild? Is there anything that could contribute to such "stiffness"? |
