HK users with boot sub

Hi all

I am in the process of getting the gear together to install a trunk sub and I have a few questions for users who have done this.

Did you amp or high pass the factory under seat sub so they do not try to play the same freqs as the boot sub.

Does the factory system have a subsonic filter to protect the factory subs and did it affect your boot sub.

I have always had a hatchback so how well does bass travel into the car in a saloon.

Finally where did you pick up a remote connection as I am using a custom loc from navone. Did think of using a voltage sensing relay but that won't work with start/stop.

Thanks
Sully
