How to get video playback?

Hi guys I apparently have an entry level nav on my 2016 f30, but everyone seems to be able to play DVD through their head unit...mine just comes back with a message saying unreadable.

Am I able to get any sort of video playback through my unit? I even tried purchasing USB video playback through bimmertech and after entering my VIN it's not available for coding via USB.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Video playback is only available for the NBT head unit, whereas you probably have HU_ENTRYNAV.
