Same here... or something very similar. One without a massive compressor (lower db?)

Any idea of the easiest and cleanest way to install on the F30?

I’ve found these on the amazon uk site so coupled with the generic horns no need to cut/splice cables

You cannot remove the old connections from the old horn, unless you drill the thing out, which may just snap in half, so it's more work and more risky IMHO, on top of that, one of my old OEM connectors seem to be in bad shape, there's corrosion and stuff all over it, I wouldn't reuse it even if I could. I think BMW purposely made that proprietary connector so people pay 10 times more for another flimsy OEM horn for ease of plug and play. Or you can just order those plugs as mentioned by IAmATeaf above.

I just put round ones in from Advance A P
My fourth set including stock. Always only one goes out.
With tire off it's a simple job.
Thanks for the write up!

BTW, for everyone else's info:

These are NOT correct for 2015 BMW F3x cars

Purchased in the hopes of making horn replacement with the WOLO horns EZ - not even close to fitting the F3x series horn body harness connector = wasted $$

So ended up cutting of factory connector & soldering pigtail leads with spade connectors for the new horns

Resurrecting an old thread. My High Freq Horn (passenger) failed a month or so ago. Planning on installing the Hella Sharptone Horns both Hi & Low) tomorrow, time permitting. Although, the horns come with a relay, is there any need to use it since I am using existing wiring. Will just cut, splice, solder new connectors. Thanks!
