Suggest me a best ECU Remap pls

Hi, i am looking for a best ECU Remap in GErmany.
I have read about many types of ECU Mods to increase the BHP and also fuel effeciency.

I am totally new to this Topic of Remap.

Can anyone tell me which is the best and failproof method to tune my Engine?

by the way, i have 320d ED 2015 Model. i live in Germany. Has anyone got their F30 320D Effecient Dynamics remapped ? if yes where, with what type of Remap ? how is the feel and what is the Mileage before and After ? i know it has been asked several times and also answered.

But i am not finding all the Info in one place. It is there the Problem is.

Pls guide me or suggest me how to proceed. I have another 11/2 years of Extended warranty. my ODO currently Shows 76100kms...

I asked for it in regional Forum(Europe Continental) and i got only 1 reply. That is too less and insufficient for me i guess. So looking out for a concise Info and correct Direction

Thanks in Advance.

Hi I will not be able to help you with German remaps, but what I can suggest, based on my experience is to find place where they are doing custom remap, dyno the car and adjust specifically for your car.
My first remap was done with a reputable place and promised 218 hp, however after dynoing the car the actual result was 197hp, and the power curve was with some dips.
I went to the place that does remaps for race cars. The end result for second remap was 224hp, and much smoother power curve. Now keeps pulling harder in higher rpm, till 4,8k rpm. With first remap the power died at around 4,3k rpm.

OK. That's good to know. How much did you pay for it and where did you get it done? Are you having any issues since then?
Did they do ecu remap or just tuning? How much it costs for a dyno test?
Thanks in advance

Suggest me a best ECU Remap pls

For me the costs were 300 Eur for first remap and 200 eur for second. Dyno was 40 eur, but this is in Latvia, most likely in Germany costs will be higher. Both were ecu remaps.

My first remap I had for 2 years and 80 000 km with no issues, 2nd remap only for 1 month and 3k km but no issues so far. I did my first remap when car had already 140k km.

Ecu remap = tune

There are so many tuners in Europe, some home-made, some pro.. so it will be difficult to find the "best".

I suggest finding a local pro with experience if possible. Many times the most popular will not necessarily be the best.

OK, i didnt know that Ecu Remap is tune. Is a Racechip also called Tuning ? because i saw Chiptuning somewhere. What is it ?
If i go to local ones, what should i do if something goes wrong ? i dont risk getting experimented.
Anyway, i am in search of a reputed Tuner here. So far i have found one called SD-Engineering in Stuttgart. they are pricy at 800€...
Looking for more suggestions.

Now how often do you Service your car and what is the ideal Oil Change frequency and are there any extra maintainence costs involved ?

Thanks

My old VW got its first tune at 304,000km, and progressively more power after. It is now 472,000km.

A healthy, well maintained engine will not care, even if it has a lot of km.

I think 140k km is not that much. That was for 3 year old car with 80% of the time on highway with cruise control and rpm below 2k.

For the last 1,5 years I am doing oil change every 10k km. Other than that Im doing all the maintenance as required by BMW. Currently Im at 222k km. I still have my original dpf and tuner said that it is still in the great condition. Planning to keep the car for another 5 years at least.

Cool. Can you send me some pics of your Car ? it Looks great.
And can you also enquire the Place where you got your car tuned if they have or know someone who does Tuning here in Germany ?
I am really tempted to get a Stage 1 Tuning for my car. As i have read it is within the safe Limits and you are one among the Proof for it right ?
I Need more info about the ECU Remapping pls. Have you heard of Bootmod3 Tuning ? is it good/safe or better than the your way of Tuning ?

Your neighbours in Austria may have something of interest.

Depending on your budget you could also look to the AC Schnitzel tuning box.

Here is a link to the UK page but it is probably cheaper where you are:

Neither of them are for me and they don't suit me.
I asked for a remap not a tuning box my friend. Thanks for your effort in answering me.

Hi, thanks for those pics. Your car looks really beautiful in that dark blue color. Can you give me the contact info from your tuner ? If it works out I will come to Latvia and get my car tuned for real. I need just performance and it should be 100% documented.
Can you give me the address of your tuner pls ? One more question, how is your mileage affected after tuning? Had it decreased, increased or remained constant ?
Thanks in advance...
