Xdrive transfer case

How would you diagnose a issue with the transfer box.
I tried to get a run on 4 wheel drive dyno but the car wouldn't stop skipping and hoping about. The operator had only had 1 other xdrive on the dyno before and it ran fine. He said it may be an issue with the xdrive.

Did you disable DSC by holding the DSC button until dash says DSC Off?

You should disconnect the connector of the vtg control unit located on the transfer box.
The clutch remains open (only RW drive in this case).
It could fix your problem.

That's extreme but will work; you can simply code it off for temporary purposes.
I think he said he was on a 4 wheel dyno, so it shouldn't matter, except when the car thinks it has wheel slip.

Thanks for the replies
We did pull the no 32 fuse that put it in rear wheel drive only but made much lower figures.
4 wheel was around 380bhp it made this number on 3 runs. 2 wheel mode made 350bhp. This was with a remap.
Both modes made the standard 310bhp with map removed
