Recently picked up the turner carbon intake for the n55 , was a pretty easy install but fitting the intake tube was a pretty hard task . (It sounds amazing and my car is stock) . The car does feel alittle delayed when pressing the pedal after the install can it be a air leak?

Air leak is unlikely, but double check your connections.

The more likely explanation IMO is the location and design of the MAF housing. Not only does it look like a different size/shape than sock but the location looks a little strage? I would be surprised if MAF readings were not affected. Common design flaw in most intakes. Datalogging is the main way to confirm. If you have the software and are able, you can try resetting adaptations and putting some miles on the car to see if it gets better over time.

Stock intake is designed the way it is for a reason.

I appreciate the help! It helped a lot I readjusted the maf sensor (seemed like the o ring wasn't tightly installed into the intake) after that I drove it on the highway for 20 minutes now it feels a lot smoother and much better than the stock intake . Thank you once again!

If you have access to a scanner, or something to reset adaptions, then I suggest you do that. :-)

The delay is likely from moving to an open filter. Much harder to create intake pressure now.

Stock intake on the N55 is the best option. No open air intake is going to perform better than it, period.

guy I know locally has one of these. he's had it replaced multiple times for small leaks at the seams.

hes running a ps2 ewg setup and his maf numbers are always super low. mid high 30s and.never breaks 40s. it's crazy. looks awesome though.

Typical MAF impacts from intakes like this.
