Hello I recently changed my MTF with genuine BMW fluid. The fluid that came out was disgusting. After changing the fluid, when I press the clutch in I feel almost a click about halfway through. Not sure what this is. When the car warms up the feeling is much less pronounced.

Edit: starting to think this might be a clutch pedal spring issue?

Edit 2: another update, I have a feeling that this might be related to the fluid. I have read that the brake and clutch fluid are connected. Since I bought the car, I have felt that the brakes are not performing as well as they should be. My brake fluid service is due in 2 months. Could this be the problem? Seems like the clicking is a bit hydraulic in nature.
