Looking to sell my Active Autowerke Active-8 Piggy back /Tuning Box for 328i/428i.
The tuning box I have is for the N20/N26 engines, it is the highest set piggyback tune you can get (93 Octane).
This tune makes a BIG difference in power; I went from 14.3 to 13.09 in the quarter mile with just this piggyback!

I have also documented the runs at Island Dragway in Great Meadows NJ. In the Bimmerpost.com forums ( see link below).

I was running low 13's all night 13.106, 13.090, all on MAP 8. (see pics).

Well with the proof of the effectiveness of this piggy back I want to sell because my current lease is up on my 2014 328i, and I don’t need it anymore. This AA8 is in perfect condition and everything works as it should. I even have the original box and paper work that it came with.

I know is used, but it is in perfect shape, so I am looking for $575 OBO.

I’m located in Morris County North Jersey, I’m not really interested in shipping, and you will have to come to me cause I have a hectic work schedule. We can meet up at a Dunkin Donuts or something… I can even show you how to hook it up if need be.

I can attest that the A8 does make noticeable power on my N55 435MSport also - linear application of boost, no jerkiness or hard hits, power really comes on after 2500rpm - makes the car a regular beast

At least with the N55, on factory setting of (6) it pushes 4.5psi over factory, every click above (6) to (9) yields another 0.3lbs boost - above setting (6) you will prolly need more than 93 octane...

Shifts are as normal for every mode, and you will be able to lite up that DSC in Sport & Sport+

Install took ~1 hr, that was with me being anal about how I tie wrapped the loom. Hardest part was the Cam Sensor plug, but no where near how difficult some make it out to be.

Just take a look at the plug on A8 loom, take note of how the factory clip will release (as it is exactly the same), use a small right angle dental pick tool (similar to what you would have around for gun bolt cleaning purposes) & connector is off in 10sec

Make sure you FULLY engage all the connectors - take extra care with cam sensor, it may seem like it's all the way in, but give it a leetle more push & you'll feel it click the rest of the way.

I had absolutely no problems with the install - harness has all correct length wires, OEM style weatherpack connectors, and handy bracket to mount module under PS cowl cover

Have this on both my cars. It's a no-brainer imho. Hope somebody snaps it up!
