Thanks, my ceilings are 10'6" and the Porsche and BMW lift to full height with a few inches to spare. I use my QuickJacks as bridge jacks to get the car off the lift.

Thank you. I had thought about RaceDeck but I'm actually leaning towards real tile to make it look very classy, also painting the walls dark grey, the ceiling black and doing LED lighting. I found some very inspirational photos online I would like to do something similar.

That's gorgeous, definitely modern clean room type feel. I went with epoxy in a light gray with black, white, and blue flake and a slate gray on the walls. Real tile is surprisingly strong when laid right.

Thank you, I used to be a VW, Audi, Porsche tech and then was a BMW Instructor for a while so have masted a decent amount of tools. Been working for the military for about 9-years now and have been debating on opening a European shop in my area because we only have one and they have a bad reputation.

I love Arizona, my 5-bedroom, 3 car garage was $419k and only pay $2600 a year in taxes. When my kids are out of the house in 5-years will sell this house and build a dream home with a proper 6-10 car garage & workshop.

Wow, beautiful garage! I am so jealous. In a couple of years, I'd like to be in a position where I can at least have the lift. Not sure I will ever get the serious tools you have, but that's ok. The lift would be awesome. Along those lines, why did you go for a 4 post vs 2 post setup? Looks like the 4 post would give a nice advantage when it comes to storing cars underneath (as you showed in one of the pics), but is there something else? I like how you used the quickjack (which I currently have as well) as a means of allowing you to still use the 4-post lift, but get to the brakes/axles/suspension.

Thanks for the comment, I have been collecting my tools for about 15-years but honestly don't have more than $15k-$20k in them.

I decided on a 4-post for several reasons:
1) I didn't want to drill and anchor a 2-post into my floor.
2) 4-Post provides better vehicle storage
3) 4-post was the easiest over all to set up, most 2-posts are 240v, this 4-post is 110/120v.

Just add a urinal in 1 corner and a futon on the other and you’ll never have to leave that dream garage lol.

Lol, that's a great idea! My next garage will be 2-3 times bigger and will include a lounge area for some nice leather coaches to relax with some cigars and enjoy the cars.

$4500 seems like a bargain for Jersey which I'm pretty sure is the highest property tax rate in the country...

love it! by the looks of it you change out garage door rails to high lift might make it even easier. I did it on mine and worked like a charm. I suggest doing epoxy on floor, relatively inexpensive and stains come off easily.. if you didnt do LED lighting yet, 4X2 troffer LED panels are super cheap now and provide massive lighting.. i put like 10 into my garage for some 80K+ lumens, it feels like i'm inside a retail store its that bright.. I used 4x2 frames to mount them so they hang about 2" off the ceiling, recessing wasnt an option based on their size and direction that floor joists ran for 2nd story above.

I'm debating between epoxy floors or gray tile. I would have to epoxy it myself, I contacted several epoxy places in my area and they all quoted around $4000 for my garage.

I want to do LED lights also but paint the ceiling black and then arrange the LED lights in a pattern.

I have seen the side mounted garage door retractors so it frees up the center but so far hasn't been an issue for me since a it's only Porsche's and BMW's.
