So I recently got my Veepeak adaptor and coded in comfort opening/closing. Next, I coded in the Alpina start screen, M performance instrument cluster logo, and digital speed. None of them work. When I start up my car, it gives me the BMW ConnectedDrive animation, the instrument cluster logo hasn't changed, and the digital speed isn't showing up. Did I do something wrong, is my car defective, or is my car not sufficiently equipped for what I want? I do not have navigation; I have the base iDrive.

Did you code them all at once? Try one by one.

The start screen and m performance on the instrument cluster will not work if you have base I-drive and base instrument cluster.

Which one is base the smaller screen?

The digital speed should work. Might have to cycle the b/c button on the end of the stalk for it to show...with the base screen, the others don't work...you need 6wA or a 6wb screen for them to show up. however you CAN code idrive screen to start with mperformance screen start up, but that will show up only when you change to sport or comfort settings while driving, turn off car , leave it for 15 minutes then when you come back idrive screen will start with mperformance logo...

I have the HU CIC with combox. coded everything I wanted successfully including advanced bluetooth. But with sport display coded in its just an ornament. No readings. Is this my fate?

unfortunately yes...because sport display is somehow connected through from dash...not sure CIC has proper connection..
