Bootmod3 anti lag, multi-map flex fuel maps are out

yay right?

anyone else a little confused by the setup here? you can pick what maps you want? can't turn on anti lag on any map?

so the are all predetermined, so you can't mix and match. I was planning on running my custom map as one. the 2+ e30 map, a stage 2h 93 and a 2h 91 map as my 4. nope.. wtf

I think it's great news! Further clarification is needed of course. Considering all maps are flex fuel enabled it's already a huge improvement. The way I interpret that is as follows;

Stage 1
91 ACN = The map will run like your conventional stage 1 ACN map but because it is flex fuel adding up to 30% ethanol will adjust ignition and perhaps boost control. Essentially it would be a stage 1 +

Apply the same logic to the rest of the maps.

I could be completely wrong of course.

im not surprised. the thread over on m3/m4 S55 side had already found out you can't mix and match OTS maps. there was some chatter about it MAYBE coming in future updates.

as for antilag.. it is unclear because there is no visible option to turn it on or off, however, i am assuming that once you use a 'customrom' enabled map, then it is turned on. alternatively, you can convert one of your current maps to 'customrom' and i assume that enables antilag.

I just tried to convert an OTS map to CustomROM and it looks like it will enable Anti-lag.

Protuningfreaks did state the maps are flex fuel, but I don't remember them saying you needed the CANBus ethanol sensor. I'm going to assume that you do need it, because without that then the DME wouldn't know the ethanol content.

You will 100% need the ethanol content sensor.

To activate anti lag

"Press and hold the cruise up button, and press the throttle all the way to the floor. Anti lag engages once both are pressed"

It says in the screenshots in OP you need the sensor installed.
