Ardeca Oil

Does anyone have experience with this oil? Made in Belgium, BMW LL-01 certified per their website.

CF spec for diesels is an ancient spec. Everything in US is CJ or CK

It meets the LL-01. Local indy shop here uses it. They have a fantastic reputation locally. They used it when I had my oil changed recently.

There are many LL-01 or the equivalent oils available. Ardeca is one of them. Whether one is demonstrably better than another is the subject of many unending discussions that never seem to be resolved. For instance:

Makes sense. I thought it was odd that there are very limited discussions on this particular brand online. However, a pretty well regarded shop uses it exclusively. They recommend shorter, 7,500 intervals, regardless of oil used. I’ll have it sampled next change to see if there’s any noticeable difference over the BMW branded 0w40 LL-01 I used prior (sample from that is in progress)
