Trust me... equally surprised and frankly pissed. Rear cradle must be lowered at least a few inches. Does not have to be completely removed... lines disconnected etc. Just lowered. I have the 15mm bar in my garage. I just cant drop a grand on labor to have it installed! Dealer actually quoted $9XX the first time and then $1,1XX this past time I asked. It pays 5.5 hrs if I remember correctly. Im sure it can be done in 3 by the right guy with the right tools.

Id love to find an honest indy who'd like to put $100 an hour into his pocket. I dont believe that's wishful think or asking too much either.

I already ordered a 15mm 235i rear sway bar. What do you recommend for the front sway bar? Im thinking about H&R 28mm or m sport 25/22.2? Do you think there will be significant different between my 25/21.2 vs m sport 25/22.2? Or if i go with 28mm h&r will it make more under steering? What are the setup you are using now? Definitely can add KC Design to the list as well, and I am now running their front and rear bars.

I have a noob question: I am about to order the 15mm bmw rear sway bar. I looked at real oem and it shows 1 rubber bushing in the middle of the bar. Is this right? Aside from the bar, the only other piece we need is only 1 rubber bushing? How about the bracket that holds the bushing in place, is that the same size as the 12mm rear bar?
This is going on a 335ix, Dinan springs/shockware. |

I had a shop install a rear sway bar on my xdrive at $100/hour but they discovered it didn't fit when it came time to reconnect the subframe. Super embarrassing seeing as how they were going out of their way for me, but the catalog had marked it wrong - it was by Megan racing. After taking to them they discovered they don't make a rear sway for an xdrive, even though they clearly advertised one. They refunded and I sold the bar to a rwd owner.
these look sick https://carbahnautoworks.com/product...435i-440i-rwd/

I just got the 15mm bmw bar along with the stock bmw 15mm bushings. When I realized how squishy they are I started looking for poly bushings but I'm not willing to pay like $55 for the poly. I read some posts about poly vs rubber and from what I can gather the difference is minimal. This is my daily that's never tracked. I don't even drive hard.
By the way, can someone confirm the 15mm BMW bar works on an f30 335 xdrive with adaptive? |
