Listened to it on the radio, which I accept doesn't provide all the drama of watching it. A couple of moments where I thought AJ might have a repeat of the last fight, i.e getting hurt, but overall it didn't seem that exciting to me.

Good to hear that AJ fought a clever fight to get the win, but the commentary suggested that Ruiz's lack of condition and strategy were a big part of it.

Definitely up for seeing that fight as it will be immense but unfortunately I can't see it happening any time soon.

Wilder/Fury needs to happen first then the rematch of that fight so probably looking at summer 2021 at the earliest which is just crazy.

Pretty much as it sounded on the radio. AJ went backwards for 12 rounds, just using a tactical jab to keep Ruiz out of range, and was totally evasive by the end - wouldn't even engage with Ruiz. He did what he had to do (points victory), and there was no point risking contact in the last few seconds, but that was a pretty boring fight.

Not the best £ 25.00 I have spent.

For a start I was hoping to sit down with the wife and my son to watch it for a bit of company. However, they sodded off upstairs to watch “I'm an effing Z lister Celebrity Get me Out Of Here” upstairs (don't even ask).

Also a mate of mine earlier in the day had text me to say the fight started at 10pm in the UK. So by the time I switched it over at this time the fight was 6 rounds in.

And as for the fight itself – I found it so boring I think I nodded off in the 12th round.

I got suckered it by the constant advertising on this one. Never again unless someone else is paying
