Not seeing it on their site, I'll email them.

Got the new JB+ unit today, installed it, started up the car and...
no problems. Back in business. Thanks to Burger for sending me a new unit! Man I forgot how much more power this little thing puts down. You really feel that spike in boost and subsequent power when you get past turbo lag, esp in the 3rd gear pull area. Kind of spiky. What I will say is what I remember from APR stage 1 on my GTI - these tuners cannot replicate how smooth and linear OEM power delivery is. Guess the trade off is more power though. There is probably some way to smooth out power delivery when you are just running a piggyback tuner, like downpipe or something but thats totally not going to happen. Moral of the story, if you have problems and have something like this installed, remove it and the problems go away, don't bother taking your car in for service. Look at the unit itself.

Yes, really happy with the outcome here. The new JB+ is working flawlessly and its back to feeling like the 328i I have come to know and love. I cannot imagine having this car and keeping it stock. Such a significant power bump.

Last night I had the exact same problem, and I also have a JB+. I think I purchased mine around the time you got yours too. I'm going to take it off and see if all is kosher.

So apparently I didn't give the JB+ enough time unplugged - the problem has disappeared now that it is removed. I am hesitant to plug another one in... I purchased this car and am keeping it for a few more years.

N20 M528i BMS+
I concur, many of the newer BMW's are sadly weaker.
I have owned many 3s, 5s. Currently 2014 M528i bms+4psi Charge Pipe next week https://www.racdyn-usa.com/PROD/139+...QaArOhEALw_wcB 2013 335is conv . Dinan S2 400ft lb Test drove a few last week, CARMAX $20k 51k miles, met black/coral paddle 135is. Very fast and impressive, similar experience as 335is coupe but more edgy and scary and thrilling. (charge pipe blew up on day 2) limp mode returned. Tested 2015 435i coupe, $25k 40k miles,black/black 18" warranty expired(nothing like M4) also paddle shift (of course) and it was a dog and not very nimble like my e46 sedans nor e92 M3 nor e93is. Bought wife Grey RC350 v6 Lexus with nice 2 tone cream leather. Boring until 3rd gear, single clutch jerks, but perfect for ladies. I agree with OP, these newer cars are losing something for enthusiasts, they are so over engineered, the thrill up my leg is gone for import paddle cars under $70k. Looks like LITHIUM ION MOTOR coming soon, so many these WEAK SAUCE cars are going to be CASH 4 Clunkers BY 2030 |
