New here so Hi! Picked this up a couple of months ago now, after a small mishap with my GTI . Since getting it I have added the black kidney grills, rear diffuser and carbon spoiler. Tempted by the front splitter and side parts but not sure if they will suit living in the country side!

Picture in my signature; I've not had time to do a proper photoshoot with this car yet. I suppose I'm also waiting for some mods to be fitted, which take longer when you have to circumvent a wifey and a baby

The 19's look really smart on the F31, I find my 18's are a little small and having seen some 20's in the flesh, they look a little big unless the car is slammed to the ground.
More things to add to my ever increasing wish list :P

Some pictures of my car when at the retailers earlier in the year. It's absolutely filthy right now though.

Hasn't had any wax/polish for a while, but used car chem super suds shampoo yesterday. Not wax beading quality, but not bad for just a shampoo.
Edit: used the bimmerpost app for the first time, what has it done to the image quality ,

Since my own summer detail and paint correction the cars been mostly used as a workhorse covering many miles and getting very very mucky in the process.
It's now had a good careful clean and came up well. I thought I would try the Meguiars Gold class carnauba spray wax in place of the Last touch detailer as a finish / top up, very pleased with the results, some nice beading in the pouring rain of yesterday.. but wasn't going to get wet taking pictures |

Nice, black looks so nice when indoors and clean.. That's why I had a single black car once, and never again.
So I assume you use these quick wax sprays as a finish, after washing and drying. It provides a wax top up ? And I assume you need to already have a swirl free clear coat for maximum effect, as it's not designed to be any sort of cutting compound? |

You're spot on and black also looks great outdoors... but not for long All of us in the family have black cars, except for the wifey who has white, so most of us are considered bonkers by management !! Meguiars Gold class carnauba spray wax really works well on dark cars for a deep shine, but if you want great beading and longer lasting protection, try their Ultimate quick wax it has Hydrophobic Polymer Technology, so they say.
