Unhappy CEL on with downpipe/JB4

Hey guys looking for some help here... I did a catted downpipe install with JB4 at a local shop a couple months ago. Everything seems just fine until the check engine light came on last night.

Is there any way to tell if this is due to the downpipe install or some real issue with engine?

I went to the shop just now but this is a tire change season so they need me to book an appointment... Just don't have resources to check this out at the moment. I was going through forums looks like with JB4 and downpipe, if I go to BMW they won't be able to diagnose (until JB4 is disabled or set to map0?)

Scan the code with the JB4.. It has a built in code scanner.

For DP code outside USA you have passive delete option on WMI page, it's blocked in the USA but in Canada should show for you.

Thank you! They called me back and did a quick scan, turned out it was the DP.

Is this scan something I can do myself in the future or always need to go to the mechanic?

You read codes in the JB4 app under "fault codes".
