I'm looking to lower my car and struggling to decide between H&R super sport springs (or any good quality spring) versus coilovers.

Where I am, installation and parts for H&R springs would be about ~$1000

Alternatively if I bought coilovers I could get those installed for free.

I'm hesitant to buy coilovers because the ones under $2k seem to be bad. Any thoughts or experience? Also, should I look into dampers or anything to make the ride smooth? I'll be driving around Seattle and the roads aren't the best so I don't want to be stressed driving around either

I'm looking for the most cost effective while also making sure to not cheap out and damage the car.

Thanks
