Coding to display gears in D
Hi,
Does anyone know how to code to display the current gear at all times while in D, similar to Alpina flash. My car only displays active gears while in S sport mode, but I would like to code it to have in D mode aswell. Thanks |

I think the only way is either to flash your gearbox with the Alpina map or use xHP

Flashing Alpina is not for all models.
You will need xHP. |

I have a 335xd as Alpina diesel is based on the same car. Not bothered about XHP to be honest.
But yeah, I found a guide on how to do it with ESYS as alpina comes with PSZD data aswell so I'll hopefully flash the map this weekend If I can get the psu first. Thanks |

The Alpina flash takes only 3 minutes. The battery can do this even without a power supply. I've done this several times. |

Then your cheapest and best option would be Alpina flash yes! |
