BlackVue DR750S-2CH: any recent experience with this newer dash cam?
BlackVue DR750S-2CH is a newer model which addressed several known issues.
Did anyone install it recently? https://www.blackvue.com/dr750s-2ch/ |

Updating this thread.
Today, BlackVue DR750S-2CH dash cam has been installed including Cellink NEO battery and 128 Gb BlackVue SD cards. The installation has been done by a local shop in OC. Will post pictures shortly. Hopefully, this will help others make the decision what dash cam to buy. |

As requested, initial impressions about BlackVue DR750S-2CH are positive but like any other technology densely packed in a small form factor there will be items of concern, ranging from annoyances to problems.
If anyone is considering to buy DR750S-2CG dash cam, two resources are worth reading first: https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/forums/dr750s-2ch.246/ https://helpcenter.blackvue.com/hc/e...DR750S-Series- I attached a picture of Cellink NEO battery installed near the fuse box. Highly recommend it. |

The operating temperature is -10 ~ 65°C (14 ~ 149°F) - straight from specifications. The battery parameters - charge % + others ) - can be examined via an app which connects to the battery via Bluetooth. |

I have the DR750S-2CH and have been happy with the performance. I've been using it since last fall. For stealth, I installed the rear camera in front just under the rear view mirror mount, and the main camera is in back. All wires are hidden under trim. Power and main battery are in the trunk next to the power outlet.
I like it because it has a good image, and also connects to my home or work wi-fi. This gives me live access to the camera while it's on, and also is an easy way to download videos I want to save (the knucklehead driver collection). One problem, the rear camera (which is mounted in the front) doesn't come on for about 5-10 minutes after starting the car, which is kind of annoying. |
