Help on Rims will it work ?

Hi sorry i tried searching but cant seem to find a positive answer on a size of rim and offset that I may consider purchasing as the price is too good to pass up....sorry I'm a noob to this stuff and its a lot of info to absorb and I still don't understand how these offsets work ! so maybe someone can chime with an answer straight yes or no ..I would appreciate the help !

my car is a 2015 320i Xdrive non sport lowered on Eibach Sportlines purchased this way !

Rims are 18 x 9 with a 40 ET...

Any Help is greatly appreciated

The only sure size I know that will work in the front is 18×9 with a et35...

Unless you believe this guy running 18×9 et42 on the link that follow

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...%2F4018+square

Et40 is 2mm less that et42.... means that's your 2mm away from rubbing your suspension. And the tire you choose will be factor here.

I found a 320i xdrive on Google says he's running frt/rr 18x9 42 et with 245/40/18 Toyo's their very squared not bulging but hes not mentioning if hes on springs or coilovers or what style coilovers as bottom mounts vary , camber plates or any fender mods and No spacers.....searching is a pain in the ass and taking someone's word for it could be a nightmare.....if you get my meaning...appreciate the response thank you

I completely understand man....that's why I listed a size that will 100% fit.

I got no money or balls to play around just to find what limit (size) wheels that would fit. I just go for what's work
